The objective of the SVP Charity is to relieve poverty, both material and emotional in the United Kingdom and abroad. This is done through person to person involvement of it's voluntary members in befriending and through projects established to address specific needs in the local community.
If you or someone you know is struggling, the SVP might be able to help. Phone or text Andy Gudge in confidence on 07855 824434, or speak to one of the priests or Deacon David, and we'll arrange to visit you for a chat and to see what we can do to help.
SVP meet on the 1st Monday of the month at 7.30pm in the Conference Room by St Dunstan's Church. If you would like to get involved, please call Andy Gudge on the number above.

FUN DAY AND LUNCHES
Once again, a good time was had by all thanks to the generosity of the people of the parish and the hard work of Pat Hollinshead, her team at Manningford Hall and the volunteers from the parish.
On the fun day, families enjoyed a day trip to Weston-Super Mare with ice creams, building sandcastles and donkey rides which all made the day fun for both children and parents.
As well as providing a nourishing lunch for the children and some of their parents, we were able to provide the opportunity for crafts, games, entertainment from the Animal Man and the Magic Man.
The children sent some beautiful thank you cards.
